ARONIA Lowberry Little Helpers

    £12.00

Aronia Viking is a self fertile, erect branching shrub with ovate, glossy dark green leaves that are hairy underneath. Clusters of white, pink-flushed flowers in late spring are followed by edible fruits that resemble blackcurrants. Like Blackcurrants they are very high in vitamin C and can be used in much the same way including jams, jellies and wine.

ARONIA x prunifolia Lowberry Little Helpers

Aronia Lowberry Little Helpers is the first and only naturally compact variety of Aronia making it perfectly suited to container growing and also in mixed berry plantings with other Lowberry® varieties. Despite their compact habit, the shrubs produce a bountiful harvest of purple-black superfuits. The berries have a surprisingly mild and sweet taste and are packed full of goodness including antioxidants. The fruit can be used in a wide variety of ways including fresh eating, cooking and drying.
