Bred by the Scottish Crop Research Institute, Ben Hope is a vigorous and upright-growing bush variety producing consistently high yields of medium sized currants with good sensory qualities. The currants are high in quality and hang on long strigs. Ben Hope has a high level of resistance to gall mite and good resistance to both mildew, leaf spot and big bud. Particularly suitable for growing organically.

- Planting distance: 1.5m apart in rows 2m apart.
- Height & Spread: 1.5m x 1.5m
- Crops: July/August (approx. 10 days later than Ben Lomond)
3 litre stock will be supplied pot grown during the Summer & early Autumn, thereafter the plants could be fresh potted. Please enquire for clarification.
4 litre stock will be supplied pot grown.
Bare root stock is available for dispatch between November & late March. Orders can be placed in advance, just bear in mind that payment will be taken in full at time of ordering.
