The demand for compact fruit plants just continues to grow.  We have combined two of the leading plants in this genre Raspberry Ruby Beauty & Blueberry Little Blue Wonder to present this special offer.  While these plants are bred for growing in containers, they will also do well in gardens where there is little room to spare.  When bought individually these would normally cost £27 but we are slashing £5 off this for the weekend only – a saving of almost 20%!

RUBUS idaeus RASPBERRY Ruby Beauty

This superb recent introduction is the world’s first compact raspberry. Ruby Beauty is a dwarfing raspberry plant that is thornless and grows to just 1 metre tall, producing 1.5kg of fruit from each plant. This multi branching plant requires little or no support and is therefore perfect for the patio and an exciting addition to your borders. It makes a unique edible hedge too! Easy to grow producing an abundance of fruit with a traditional raspberry flavour. The fruit is produced early in the summer after which you simply cut off any old canes and allow the new ones to grow on for the next year’s crop. As easy as that! Plants should be planted in a patio pot 1 plant per 20 litre pot or 3 per 40 litre pot. If planting a decorative hedge then allowing 70cm between plants is perfect! There really is no better way to harvest fresh delicious raspberries than from this delightful compact plant.

VACCINIUM corymbosum BLUEBERRY Little Blue Wonder 3L

Little Blue Wonder is one of the most compact blueberries available, it grows more broad than high, making it ideal for dense area plantings. During the long lasting flowering period it forms a beautiful and dense, beige-white blanket of flowers. Very hardy, known to survive winter temperatures well below -30°C! Spectacular autumn colours in red to burgundy, and combined with the mass of blooms in Spring make it an ideal ornamental blueberry for balconies, patios and container growing in general. The berries are rather small, but they have a beautiful sky blue colour and a fresh flavour that is reminiscent of wild blueberries.

• Self fertile, but as with all blueberries, cross pollination will encourage a greater yield.
• Eventual height and spread: 50cm x 70cm
• Planting distance: 1.5m apart or in pots using Ericaceous compost
• Cropping season: late July
