RHEUM rhabarbarum RHUBARB Timperley Early

One of the earliest rhubarb varieties that can be ready to harvest as early as February. Succulent red-based pink stems with a delicious sweet flavour. An excellent variety for outdoor production and forcing in winter. Once established, Timperley Early will produce masses of delicate slender stems that are tender. An easy to grow variety – performs very well outside but will also excel when forced.

Where possible, 3 litre stock will be supplied pot grown between late spring and early Autumn, thereafter the plants could be fresh potted.  Please enquire for clarification.

Bare root stock is available for dispatch between November and March and will be available to pre-order from late summer. Please bear in mind that full payment will be taken at time of ordering. The season may be extended into April if the weather allows.
