FRAGARIA x ananassa STRAWBERRY Albion

Bred by the University of California, this variety is regarded as simply the best everbearer strawberry available.  It is a very heavy cropper of dark red berries that are extremely large & sweet and the quality of the fruit is maintained throughout the season. The fruits are long & conical in shape. lavour is outstanding, particularly for an ever-bearer. Has the potential to get 1lb of fruit per plant in one season! Superb disease resistance, particularly to crown rot, and is moderately resistant to verticillum wilt.  Can be successfully grown in containers for a space saving crop.

Due to Albion being an everbearer strawberry, the crowns are not usually available for despatch until the early Spring although it can depend on the Summer/autumn weather conditions. Please enquire should you require more information.
