Strawberry Florence is a well-loved specimen renowned for the excellent quality and taste of its delicious fruit. It is one of the most popular of the late strawberry varieties, where Fragaria Florence will thrive in sunny locations in rich, fertile soil and is the perfect choice for patio pots, allotments or the garden border. Between July and August, this traditional British strawberry produces an impressively heavy crop of delightfully sweet fruits which can be added to jams and desserts or frozen to enjoy once the season has finished. The resilient Strawberry Florence also has a strong resistance to disease, making it a fantastic low maintenance addition to the garden and grows to mature height of 30cm.
