ASPARAGUS officinalis Burgundine
New purple male dominant F1 hybrid that has been bred to produce super tender stems. The stems contain less fibrous lignin than most varieties, and so can be enjoyed raw or lightly steamed! Exceptionally sweet, juicy, crunchy and great for eating with hummous or other dips, and in salads. The purple stems are extremely attractive and produced in reliably good yields.
